Hotel Deepti Courtyard

The staff really shaped our stay. They were helpful and polite throughout, brought our bags up without being asked, and one person showed us around the room and explained how things worked. Restaurant service was quick, and the housekeeping staff were courteous. The hotel is well run, and I appreciated the support from the team and management. Getting around was easy: it sits on Ring Road, about 7-8 minutes from the railway station. Parking was available, with guards helping guests arrive and leave. Check-in and checkout were quick, and the large lobby had plenty of seats and more than one receptionist available. Our room and bathroom were very clean. The bed linen and towels were spotless, and the room had useful storage, a mini-fridge, and even a shoe rack beneath the table. The bathroom had toiletries, a glass bathing partition, hot water, soft clean towels, and a phone. We ate at the indoor and rooftop restaurant, trying biryani, paratha, omelette, sandwiches, and toast. The food tasted quite good.

I had a great stay at Hotel Deepti Rourkela. The room and surroundings were lovely, and the staff treated me very well. Dinner and breakfast were both quite good. Thanks to the Deepti Courtyard team for the excellent service. I’d recommend it.

The Indian food was really tasty and came in generous portions. Continental dishes were less successful for me, with room to improve both taste and quantity. Staff were helpful, courteous, and well behaved throughout, and the hotel stayed clean and tidy. It’s about a 10-minute drive from the railway station, then another 10 minutes to the NIT main gate.

For a business trip, the room layout worked especially well. Even with several large suitcases, there was room to move around without feeling crowded, and the interiors balanced practical use with a nice look. Everything was carefully arranged and very clean. Service was another strong point. Staff were warm and attentive without hovering, and the restaurant team was particularly prompt and courteous. Deepti Courtyard felt like a dependable stay for work or leisure, with comfort, space, and thoughtful housekeeping.
