The only real drawback was my room, which had no windows at all. It felt like a cell, with no way to get fresh air in. Otherwise, it's a decent place for a fair price, with polite staff and a fairly clean room in a new building. I stayed for two nights.

On Christmas Eve 2025, we were driving from Chennai to Kerala and needed to break up the trip after heavy traffic delayed us. Villupuram seemed like a good place to stop overnight, and a friend who'd stayed before suggested sree krishna grand residency. It's quite new and clean, and just a five-minute drive from the highway. The next morning, manager Mr. Subramanian called to say we'd left our headphones behind. It was our mistake, but he arranged to courier them to my home and made sure they arrived. I appreciate the hospitality and service.

The staff were flexible and welcoming, and Mr. Subramani, the manager, was responsive from the time we booked until we left. My family of seven stayed for a day in three rooms, which were clean and well maintained. Recommended!

At 1.30 am on 31st December 2025, we arrived early in the morning, and the duty manager, Subramanyam, had made sure our room was ready. The staff were kind, the rooms and toilets were extremely clean, and the sheets were fresh. I've stayed in many places in Chennai, and not all of them had this kind of appeal. I'd highly recommend it to anyone staying in villipuram. Thank you, Subramanyam, for making it such a good experience at year end, when it can feel like nobody cares about customers or their needs.

The rooms were tidy and clean, and worth what they cost. It's in a prime spot that's easy to reach and stay at, and the management and staff were very good in how they treated us.
