I stayed for four days and found the hotel very good in every way. The staff were all very good too.

The price made this stay a real letdown. I expected more from a room costing 1800 rupees, with GST charged extra, and the experience didn't come close to justifying that amount. It felt like the hotel promised far more than it delivered, with very poor value for money. In Mangaldoi, in Darrang district, hotel prices seem very high across the board.

The rooms are good, though not the best, and the food didn't match its price. Breakfast was only toast and tea, with no alternatives. Room service didn't meet expectations either, since cleaning wasn't done daily. The water glasses provided were plastic. The TV subscription was renewed every two days, and we had to ask for it; English news channels weren't included. There was no management available to hear feedback. With little competition in Mangaldai town, it felt as though visitors were being taken for granted.

The rooms are decent and have AC, and the food was okay too, but it took 1.5 hrs to arrive in our case. Service was poor. During our stay, a party with alcohol was happening on the roof, so families may want to look elsewhere. In mangaldas, there are just 2 good hotels in my view. Hotel madhuban is the better one, and this comes second.
