The location is the main drawback: the hotel sits down a narrow lane, so it isn’t easy to spot, and guests with their own vehicle may need to leave it a little way off, perhaps in the Railway parking lot. Still, it’s near the Railway Station, and the rooms are spacious, clean, and well furnished. The bed is fine too, and the wide washroom is clean with standard Oyo toiletries. Room service is decent, while the efficient front desk staff are very helpful and well behaved. Early check-in is available for a small extra payment.

The bathroom wasn’t up to the standard for the rate, and service was poor. I had to ask several times before they brought a towel for my bath, and it was wet. The AC wasn’t working properly either, just running slowly. Please keep the rooms clean to your international standard. Regards, Soubhagya Routray Bhubaneswar

The place was dirty and unclean, and finding it in a small gully was really difficult. The receptionist was good, but the rest of the place was worthless. The ACs wouldn’t work and there were no attendants. Choose somewhere better.

I don’t know why this hotel is registered with Oyo. Even a dharamshala would be better. The outside of the room door was damaged, and the walls had been repaired without plaster or paint, with electrical wires left in the wall in the same condition. The roof leaked. The mattress cover looked unwashed for a long time, and the blanket was dirty. The bathroom had been repaired but left unfinished, with AC condenser wires and water tubes running from it. The toilet light didn’t work, the toilet was under maintenance, and the geyser didn’t work either. Hairs were scattered everywhere, and there was no mirror in the normal room.

The hotel is well maintained and close to Rourkela railway station. It’s just off the road beside subham hotel, but the narrow lane may make it hard for people to find.
