OYO RDP084 Hotel The Vidya Grand

As a first-time visitor to Rudrapur, I had a very bad experience. I arrived at 11:00 pm and the hotel refused to give me a room because the booking was through OYO. If the hotel disagrees with OYO's room pricing, it should remove its listing. I even saw the room they offered for 800/-, and it had a broken bed. The hotel needs to sort this out with OYO so customers aren't left in this position late at night. At the very least, they should tell guests beforehand if they won't honor a booking at the OYO price.

I booked The Vidya Grand (OYO RDP084) through an OYO offer for 799₹ and paid in full in advance. When I arrived, they wouldn't open the gate until I explained the tariff because I had booked through OYO. I was visiting Rudrapur for the first time, at night, and the hospitality was awful. They demanded extra money to open the gate, around 10:00 PM. Very bad experience. I suggest everyone avoid this hotel and not book here.

The room wasn't clean and the hygiene was poor. They refused to give me a room even though I'd booked in advance through OYO. The staff treated customers very badly, asking whatever price they wanted and refusing to accept OYO bookings. Not recommended at all.

Worst hotel I've ever dealt with. The staff were rude and unprofessional, refused to give us the room I'd booked, and demanded extra money in cash, in advance. They wouldn't even let us check in until we paid. I cancelled the booking, but got no refund. Terrible service and staff. I wouldn't go there, though it's up to you.
