The meal that stayed with us was the dal and plain rotis. It was comforting, delicious, and tasted like home cooking. We also met Mr. Atul Sharma, MD of the hotel, who took time to speak with guests and offered helpful guidance for the rest of our journey. We began our trip at Hotel Atul Regency after traveling from Shimla, and it made a welcome stop. The setting is beautiful, with the Sutlej River on one side and mountains on the other. The managing team made us feel welcome, and we were pleased with the hospitality and cleanliness. Shimla isn't the end of Himachal, as we were reminded by the Kinnaur Valley. We’d recommend the stay and food to people heading toward Kinnaur or Kullu Valley. Thanks to Atul ji and the team for a lovely experience.

We were there for around eight hours. The receptionist gave us a discount from the listed price, and the staff were helpful with what we needed. The central geyser was useful, too. We didn’t try the food, though the menu looked broad and the prices seemed reasonable. I’d give it four stars.

The water bottles cost more than the printed MRP, so that felt like a waste. The restaurant service was poor as well, and our food arrived cold and below standard.

The sandwich was a waste of money, and the food was very bad. I also left disappointed after trying to book a room. The online listing said couples were welcome, but the hotel staff refused to give us a room. They should remove that information from the booking site. I wouldn't recommend this hotel and won't suggest it to anyone.

The staff were really nice, and both the service and food were very good. We had a very good experience at Atul Regency. A must visit.
