It’s a decent place right on the Sakleshpur highway, though the room quality didn’t seem worth the somewhat high price.

The rooms were affordable and pleasant for a stay, with views of the hills and coffee plantation from the highway side. It isn’t a luxury hotel, but the rooms are good. There’s also a multipurpose hall on the top floor.

I checked in early in the morning and got a good room straight away, with no waiting. It was clean, contrary to some Google reviews, and the staff were nice and cordial. The rooms are large, including the suites, and have mountain views at the back. The vegetarian restaurant on the ground floor served good food. They can arrange non-veg food from outside if you ask, while repairs or reconstruction are underway at their own non-veg restaurant downstairs. There’s a foreign liquor shop to the left of the hotel entrance, and Zomato delivers in the area. We ordered non-veg dinner from Town Square cafe, and there are plenty of restaurants near the KSRTC bus stand. It’s a good hotel on the Bangalore - Mangalore Highway. I was there last weekend, and I’ll stay here again when I visit Saklespur.

We paid ₹2000, and the rooms were awful with insects around. The third-floor rooms looked quite good, but the place was deserted when we visited. I’d look for another hotel in the same price range.
