CJ Pallazzio

The food was a real highlight at CJ Pallazzio Hotel, with a good selection and great taste. Service was prompt and efficient, always with a smile. My room was clean, spacious, and well maintained, and the hotel had an elegant, peaceful feel. From arrival onward, the staff were courteous, professional, and attentive, making the stay smooth and comfortable. It exceeded my expectations, and I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Salem for business or leisure.

I paid ₹6,500 per night, around $70 USD, at CJ Pallazzio in Salem, and expected much better hospitality. Room service ignored seven calls. When the food finally came after a long wait, it was cold, poorly presented, and looked rushed and unappetizing. The staff member who brought it was unfriendly and didn’t greet us properly. No apology for the delay, no professionalism, and no concern for guest satisfaction. For that price, I expected respect and proper service. Instead, the whole experience felt careless and badly managed. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel if you expect decent room service or professional treatment. Management needs to improve its standards.

The staff were good, but the maintenance and service need work. The AC filters weren’t clean and left me and my family with a horrible dust allergy. We also found no soap or shampoo in the washrooms at check-in, and the toilet flushes weren’t very effective. There were other issues too.

We had a great stay on the fourth floor, with a lovely view and very friendly staff. The service was amazing. Their chefs are excellent: the mutton biriyani and seer fish fry were next level, and breakfast of poori bhaji, paratha, and fruit was all delicious. The bhaji was especially yummy.
