Grand Estancia

The staff were respectful and professional, and food was still available when we arrived at 9:45pm, even at midnight. We tried the pizzas and breakfast, both very tasty, with plenty of menu choices. Hotel Grand Estancia has a pleasant atmosphere and a large space that must once have been luxurious, though the hotel feels dated. The facilities let the stay down: internet was poor, there was no hot shower water, the washroom wouldn’t flush properly, and water barely came from the sink. The hotel has posted that it’s under renovation, and I hope that’s completed soon so 4* travellers can enjoy it. Good staff and service are being overshadowed by building maintenance that’s unacceptable for a hotel of this caliber. Management needs to be more proactive.

The ground staff were courteous, respectful, and professional throughout my two-day stay at Hotel Grand Estancia, and the hotel had a pleasant, welcoming feel. The main problem was having no hot water for a shower on either day. I reported it to Management on Day 1, but nothing was done. At checkout, they had no concrete plan to make up for the service lapse. Saying they would "work on it" for a future visit didn’t address what I went through on this trip. Management needs to deal with maintenance more proactively and take responsibility for service failures. I hope they take this seriously so other guests don’t have the same experience.

Our doctor friends who stayed there were happy with the service too. From the start, Mr. Nandha helped me choose rooms and always responded promptly when I called with questions about the stay. We were very pleased. Thank you, Nandha and grand Estancia.

Sivagami was especially wonderful, patient and kind, and very professional throughout our visit. Her warm manner and lovely smile made the dining experience better, and she made us feel cared for. We’re grateful for her service, she’s an asset to the restaurant. The staff were welcoming and attentive, and the food came on time and was handled with care.
