We've usually stayed at Radisson Hotel when visiting Salem, but this time I suggested Salem Castle to my sister and brother-in-law. We booked a club room for three people. There wasn't an extra cot, though the extra mattress was okay, and I'd have preferred a cot. It's an older hotel, but the room was good and kept clean. The restaurant food was really good too, from the breakfast spread to the variety in the nonveg thali, which I loved. When my sister and brother-in-law visit India, we look forward to coming to Salem, staying at Salem Castle, and having good food in a peaceful setting. Thanks for the good service and hospitality.

The breakfast buffet was super delicious, and the hotel's location was convenient and easy to reach. I had a relaxing, comfortable stay. The rooms were clean and well maintained, and the staff were polite, friendly, and ready to help. Service was quick and professional. I'd recommend it to anyone visiting Salem.

The fan in our room was either noisy or off, so it wasn't usable at a comfortable speed. We checked in at 12:30 at night, and the staff member said he'd get it fixed, without seeming to consider the time. We had to specifically ask for another room, and getting it took another 20 minutes. They should check basic facilities before assigning a room.

It's in a main area and easy to get to, yet the place is calm and peaceful. The hotel was neat and clean, and the service was good. The price is a little costly, but otherwise everything was good.

I felt welcome as soon as I arrived. Reception checked me in quickly, went over the rules clearly, and helped me figure out the local buses. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hostel had a great community feel.
