Treebo Clarissa Resort with Swimming Pool

Treebo Clarissa was a wonderful experience. Rooms were clean and nice, and service was fast and good. Shivam was very helpful, and the staff were polite and cooperative. I'm sharing this one-time experience, and hope it's not a regular thing. I called Treebo Clarissa to confirm my booking and asked whether the pool was working and maintained, since I'm local and was travelling a long way with two kids who especially wanted to swim. When we arrived at 3.00 pm, the reception was boiling hot, with no fan or AC running and nobody there. Apparently the receptionist was having lunch. Once he came back, he didn't offer to help with the bags or ask if we needed anything. I checked the pool before looking at the room. The water was dirty and yellowish green, and the area smelled strongly of urine and rotten food. The room itself was good, but the corridor smelled of food, and dried, used plates were left outside empty, open hotel rooms. Our room also wasn't ready or cleaned at 3.15pm. I couldn't stand the state of the pool, so we transferred our booking to another property. I wouldn't recommend it for families with kids, as hygiene is a concern to me. Call ahead and ask them. The road in is extremely narrow. I've put in pics for the same.

The front desk staff were helpful and cooperative, but breakfast was average. Maintenance isn't up to the mark, and regular cleaning seems lacking. If you leave something outside the room, it can take at least one day to be removed.

The staff were very professional and supportive during my visit, and quick to respond whenever I had a question or request. I had a pleasant stay, with excellent service, and would definitely recommend the hotel.
