At the wedding reception, dinner was held up over last-minute payment demands, which was unacceptable. Earlier, we’d been told meals would only be served after approval, but food arrived without confirmation and the charges were unexpectedly high. Guests were shifted to another hotel, and transport between the venues was often unavailable or badly managed. My friend held a destination wedding at Discover Resorts on February 6th, and the experience was stressful and deeply disappointing. Many of management’s key promises weren’t kept. Geysers didn’t work, Wi-Fi was poor, and the décor was incomplete. Major events such as the Baraat were delayed too. The staff were polite, but management was disorganized, unprofessional, and didn’t take responsibility. This wasn’t acceptable for such an important occasion. I strongly advise against choosing this venue.

The reception dinner suddenly stopped because of a payment issue, leaving all the guests in an awkward situation. You shouldn’t see that at a wedding. The rooms also had problems: geysers didn’t work, Wi-Fi barely worked, and the setup felt unfinished. The functions were bumpy too. The Sangeet was poorly managed, especially the cooling and DJ setup. The Baraat ran late, and the mandap didn’t look complete compared with what was expected. For such an important event, things should have been better managed. I’d think twice before booking this place for a big function.

There’s enough parking, a pool, rain-dance area, banquet hall for around 300, open ground for functions, and a dining hall. The venue works for both small and large gatherings, including office parties and weddings, if the travel distance is okay. The food was tasty, and the resort itself was good.

The reception was the worst part. Dinner was stopped until we made an immediate payment, despite the substantial amount already paid, and even the bride and groom didn’t get proper meals. Once we arrived, some geysers didn’t work, Wi-Fi was unreliable, and the last-minute decorations didn’t match our agreed plan. Room service was nonexistent, so we had to go to reception ourselves. Some items in the rooms, including milk powder, were expired. Poor cooling and an incompetent DJ disrupted the Sangeet, while late vendors significantly delayed the Baraat. The mandap was missing promised decorations and lighting. From broken promises and expired items to missing service, the whole experience was deeply disappointing.
