The bedsheets and pillows didn’t feel hygienic, and the room and bathroom were dirty. The geyser and tap water flow were both poor. It seems they particularly want to maintain it.

The lift apparently gets switched off at night, which was inconvenient. Cleanliness was only okay, the toilet fell short, and the jet spray wasn’t working properly. These are things they should improve for guests.

The room didn’t feel safe: its window was broken and left open, so anyone could get in. It was dirty, and the bedsheets hadn’t been changed. We asked for fresh sheets and pillow covers but weren’t given any. The price was very high and there was no service. It felt like they were just making money by fooling us.

We booked two fairly spacious rooms for five people at Cafe Sagar and stayed one night. They were comfortable to a point, though one had a slight smell. The air conditioning worked well and the washrooms were very clean. The stay was pretty ordinary, nothing extraordinary. For breakfast, don’t miss the authentic kheema pav.

There’s no geyser in the bathroom, and hot water comes from solar heating only in the morning, which is a big downside. The cleanliness was just okay, and the rooms showed visible wear and tear.
