Shilp Wellness Resort & Spa

Our stay was for my husband's birthday, and I planned it as a surprise staycation near Mumbai. The property has four villas, Earth, Fire, Water, and Air, for private luxury stays. I stayed in Earth villa. Ms. Jyoti, the operations manager, was transparent from my first enquiry through the booking and helped make the day special. Mr. Om coordinated with me over WhatsApp, and the location is listed on Google Maps and their page. Ms. Ayushee Mehta’s management brings together Turkish and Moroccan themed villas, wellness spa, and personalised experiences. Mr. Sudhir Mehta ji near Mumbai deserves thanks for creating such a unique concept. At the front desk, Sujata was kind and humble. Registration was smooth, and she gave us accurate information about activity time slots. Jalal on the day shift and Ishfaq at night were polite, helpful, and always available at the ring of a bell to explain the property or assist us. My husband and I had massages with Bella and Zuali, including deep tissue, Swedish, Balanise, and Swedish aroma. The room was pristine and the ambience calming. They knew their work, focused on tense spots, and made sure we were comfortable throughout. We left completely relaxed. Azad, the restaurant manager, coordinated our breakfast, lunch, hi tea, and dinner menus. Servers Saqlain and Anil were humble and well trained, and made us feel special with luxurious service. Head Chef Deepak Das made every dish bang on for taste, quality, and quantity. Thank you, Shilp Wellness team, for the fantastic work.

The property has plenty of activities if you want to stay busy all day, and the staff are phenomenal at looking after you. It’s a massive place, with a calm and quiet atmosphere and lots of Turkish luxury. They serve only vegetarian food, with several Jain options, and the food is super awesome. I’d highly recommend it if you need an escape from the daily hustle and bustle.

The Moroccan-themed property is beautiful and almost made me feel like I wasn’t in India. I visited Shilp Wellness Spa for a Turkish hammam, and the marble slab setup felt authentic. The therapists were skilled, so the treatment itself was a great experience. But management needs work. Even though I’d booked, nothing was ready, the steam hadn’t been prepared, and they did the sequence wrong, with the massage before the hammam. The AC didn’t work, and neither did the dressing room lights. Great ambience, but coordination and maintenance need attention. Confirm your booking beforehand to avoid delays.

The all-vegetarian menu was a big plus for us, and the food and hospitality felt five star. During our two nights at Shilp Wellness Resort, they went out of their way to meet our special needs and decorate the room for our anniversary. The luxurious rooms have huge plunge pool type bathtubs, and the couple spa was relaxing and professional. I also loved seeing the exotic birds and animals, including ostrich, emu, macaw, storks, parrots, white deer, and white horses. Special mention to Ms.Jyoti at Reception for coordinating our requests, plus Mr. Saqlain at Restaurant and Mr. Anil, who both made an extra effort to make us feel special. We’ll surely visit again soon.
