Wayfare SP Resort

I paid ₹1000 in advance and had to cancel because of a personal emergency. At first, I was told I’d get 75% back, but after several follow-ups they refunded only 50% (₹500), saying that was the resort policy. It took repeated chasing to receive even that refund. Everything about the cancellation was handled verbally. I wasn’t given a written policy, receipt, or other proof. Clear written terms and transparent communication are missing, so confirm the details in writing before booking.

The way we were treated from arrival onward made us feel like an inconvenience instead of guests. Staff spoke rudely, ignored simple requests or responded with disdain, and showed little interest in helping us feel comfortable. Promises made during booking weren’t kept, and when we raised that, we got excuses and indifference. It was a truly disappointing stay. I wouldn’t recommend this resort to anyone who expects respect, good service, or a pleasant visit. Management and staff need to learn basic customer service. I’d suggest choosing a better resort.

The staff’s rude behavior and inappropriate language made an already frustrating visit even worse. They showed little basic courtesy or professionalism. Two of my friends had been invited to perform live, but the resort didn’t arrange a suitable setup, so they couldn’t deliver what had been promised. The whole event fell apart. This visit was a waste of time and money, and I wouldn’t recommend the place to anyone looking for good service or a welcoming environment.
