The food was amazing, home-cooked in feel and really tasty, and the staff were attentive to our needs. Umesh helped us from the start, first with directions and later by showing us the waterfall and helping our nephew see it too. We stayed at Winterfell and Kings Landing. Winterfell is very basic, but has beautiful red floors and a spacious room with very basic amenities. The separate kitchen and washroom right outside the room were very clean. It brought back memories of an old house where I used to stay at my grandma’s and made me feel nostalgic. A quick break from city life, with a quiet, serene atmosphere and the sound of the waterfall constantly in the background. I was really pleased.

You can walk around the village, climb some of the hills, bathe in the lake, and enjoy the waterfall and stream during monsoon. The natural beauty and quiet here are hard to explain until you’ve experienced them. Local staff are simple and caring, and the host’s wide experience as a traveller keeps you captivated. A heartwarming stay for people who love nature and peace.

The waterfall is 200 m away, and the lake flows right beside the Villa. Mr Kumar and his team made the stay memorable with their hospitality. I spent a couple of days here and had an amazing weekend, especially enjoying the view and the monsoon setting. The art and ambience are lovely, and I found myself hoping to return the following weekend. I enjoyed every bit of my stay.

We stayed in 'Kings Landing', where the King (host) and his staff made us feel like royalty. The menu ranged from Spanish omelettes, avocado and toast, hummus, and fresh green salad with their signature dressing to simple roti-sabzi and pulao, all in one day. The property feels modern and earthy, with a hill directly in front, clouds hovering above, and the sound of a water stream all day and night. P.S. The host has plenty of travel stories if anyone wants a bit of inspiration.
