Olive Tree Resort

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, making a great first impression. My room was comfortable and well equipped, clean, stylish, and roomy, with excellent service throughout. The hotel has lovely surroundings, a hill view, and a great location. I was very pleased with the stay and hope to return for longer.

The hotel and its facilities are good, but value for money matters when judging that. I had a mixed experience booking through an online portal. At check-in I was told the room type I had booked wasn’t available because I hadn’t paid enough for it. I was about to leave, but they offered a bigger room after I explained that my family couldn’t fit in a smaller one. If booking online, especially for a family room, you may be risking your stay.

There’s plenty to see nearby, including Karla Caves and Ekvira Devi temple, and Mr. Yogesh suggested Shri Durga Parameshwari Temple just next door, which was lovely. We enjoyed the clean, well-kept pool, especially seeing families playing in it, and the small machan was a nice place for evening tea with a view of the greenery. Our deluxe room was spotless, spacious, and had a beautiful pool and hill view, plus the basic amenities. There was a mix-up about check-in time, so we waited two hours for the room. The staff, especially Mr. Yogesh, were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious, while dinner buffet came rather late, past 10.15 PM. The rest of the food was on time and had lots of options. A good-value staycation spot in Lonavala. I’d recommend the hotel and stay again.

Getting to Olive Tree Resort was easy, with convenient road access, and we had a delightful time there. The staff were attentive and quick to respond, and the food was good. Bedsheets, washroom, and basic amenities were in excellent condition, and the resort kept everything clean. The swimming pool was also neat and refreshing. It’s a well-maintained place with good services and amenities, and we’d recommend it for a relaxing getaway in Lonavala.
