OYO 24793 Eagle Villa

We booked two rooms for three people each and were told mattresses would be provided, but none came. There was no light backup when the power went out. The place was very cramped for parking too. I couldn’t get my car out at night because another car was parked behind it. At checkout, the owner asked for my phone, then used it to rate the hotel himself. There was no checkout process that required my phone. The listing said there was a shared kitchen, but there wasn’t one. Room service was poor, there was no drinking water in the room, and neither the room door lock nor the bathroom lock worked. The swimming pool was very dirty. A friend accidentally dropped some sauce on the bedsheet, and they charged us Rs 400 even though it could have been washed. They charged us for the sheet, but what about all the problems we had? I booked through too app. This was the worst hotel I’ve ever seen. It’s not a villa, and it’s not even fully built. The Oyo people are the biggest problem, they don’t check hotels properly before putting them on the app. I’ve never seen such a cheap and terrible hotel. Avoid it if you’re planning to stay here, or you’ll regret it.

The owner was the only good part. Everything else was bad: the rooms were very unclean, the washroom was filthy, and there was no service, so you have to do everything yourself. It’s a long way to travel, and the route feels unsafe after sunset. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The bedsheets were very dirty, and the bathroom was disgusting when we got to the room. The room service boy was arrogant and got annoyed when we asked him to clean first. Oyo’s app had listed a TV in every room and a shared kitchen in the villa, but the manager told us the TV wasn’t working and there was no common kitchen.

It gets freezing in winter, and you don’t need AC in summer. The location is cool, at the starting point of the mountain.
