The villa has internet connectivity and parking for three large vehicles, though getting to it involves a 100 m uphill drive. Maps got us there without trouble. The place is luxurious and well appointed, with witty little notes throughout. It isn’t wheelchair accessible, and the bedrooms are arranged with two on the first floor and the third on the second. There’s a TT table, and the setting is great for family chats, a bonfire, BBQ, or wood-fired pizza, all available on the premises for an extra cost. The kitchen has cutlery, crockery, a refrigerator, and a water purifier. Gopal, the caretaker, is super spirited. It’s a wonderful weekend spot and should have great views during monsoon.

There’s a real wilderness feel to the huge estate, but it’s accessible enough for Zomato to deliver. The bungalow is cozy and well maintained, and the caretakers are quite nice. They cooked delicious food, and there’s also pizza and barbeque. We loved the ambience of the house and spent two days sharing great conversations, bonding, and making memories.

A great stone bungalow tucked away on a private hill, with a pizza oven, jacuzzi, and a local caretaker. It seems suited to any time of year, and there are lovely walking adventures nearby, with Bhaja caves just a short distance away.

We hiked the trail on the property in the morning and spotted a few monkeys, which added to the peaceful, outdoorsy feel. The huge, beautiful grounds made it easy to switch off from the noise, and the wood-fired pizza from the outdoor oven was some of the best I’ve had. The staff were warm and attentive, and the gentle, affectionate house dog won us all over. We only stayed one night and wished we’d booked longer. I’d happily return.
