The Farmhouse

We came from Goa for one night near Mumbai to celebrate my mom’s birthday, and the visit ended up ruining our day. The owner was very nice, but that was the only good part of the experience. Just one room, the one shown here, was nice; the rest were very bad. The staff had a lot of attitude and the hospitality was poor. We didn’t get the food we asked for. Richa from the sales team was very polite while booking, but became rude after we checked in whenever we tried to communicate. When we explained what was happening, we weren’t heard. She believed the staff over the customer, which was sad. Please don’t visit.

The location, villa and delicious food were all five-star for us, though the food choices were limited. Service was decent too. I’m taking off a star because reception was deserted when we arrived, and we waited ten minutes before anyone came to help. Check-in was listed as 1.00 pm, but we didn’t get our villa until almost 2.00 pm. The receptionist said he didn’t know about our booking, even though we had paid the advance online.

The place was a treat for my dogs. Both of them felt peaceful and had lots of fun roaming and playing around the property, which was the most precious part for me. The location, cleanliness and staff service were all too good, and the owner, a celebrity, was humble and down to earth. I’d happily come back many more times. I couldn’t find anything to complain about.

Calm, scenic and soulful, with delicious food. Such an amazing place!
