The Rippling Edge Gadhok Cottage

The meals were fresh and tasty, with no complaints from me, and the whole property felt calm whether I was relaxing in the villa or walking around. My villa had a lovely view and was peaceful, clean, and well maintained. The staff were friendly and welcoming from the moment I arrived, which made a real difference. The Rippling Edge lived up to the hype and felt worth the money. I’d recommend it for a quiet, scenic, clean getaway, and would come back someday.

A stream runs almost right beside the clean, well-kept property, and having evening tea with hot bhajia by the water made our stay unforgettable. Zulu welcomed us so kindly. Mr Dipan was a professional and genuinely good host who made the whole experience easy and pleasant. The property has direct connectivity, the room was sufficiently big, and the staff were cordial and humble.

We had a good family get-together here, with plenty of room for everyone to spend time indoors and out on the patios. The villa works well for a big group, and being surrounded by the flowing river made it feel like quite an experience. There was a nice bonfire for sitting around and chatting, and the staff were helpful. The outdoor dining space, games, lawn hammocks, badminton and box cricket area gave us lots to do. We also enjoyed the company of their dog. The food is simple, prepared by local people to suit your requirements. The rooms could use some upkeep, though. Bring your own toiletries, and definitely pack mosquito repellent.

The riverfront villa was a lovely place for our friends' group, with a beautiful view and a peaceful setting. We had a dreamy stay, and the food was tasty and felt homemade. The owner was there during our visit and looked after us well. Definitely worth visiting.
