Hotel O2 , Sangli

A friend from Sangli recommended Anuradha, so I gave it a try. The food was average and service slow, and my butter chicken came in a thick red gravy loaded with masala. Mosquitoes kept biting while I ate, which made dinner uncomfortable. With so few non-veg options in Sangli, this kind of service is especially disappointing. The food and ambience also feel behind what the market expects now.

Both the vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes I tried tasted really good. It's affordable too, so it's a nice option for college students.

At Vishrambag Chouk, close to the bus stop, Hotel Anuradha has reasonably priced food and two bar areas, one on the terrace and one on the ground floor. The terrace is a nice spot in the evening, with a high view, and there's a family section upstairs on the first floor. The food was good.

Chicken ran masala and chicken Malvani are the ones to try here. I'd order them boneless, since you get more chicken that way, and ask for extra spice if that's what you like. It's one of the better non-veg spots around WCE Sangli. Just remember it's a bar-restaurant, though there is a family section.
