Maya Nest is in a prime part of Sarnath, Varanasi, and the price felt moderate for rooms that were clean and well ventilated. I’ve stayed here twice, once with family and once with friends, and both visits went very well. The owner was cooperative, and the office team and other staff were humble, friendly, and helpful. I spent two days here on one of those stays and really enjoyed it.

The peaceful atmosphere and quick, attentive service made the stay really pleasant. Staff were polite and ready to help, and the food was delicious. My room was spacious, clean, and well looked after. Very good room, service, and location. 👍

The dormitory was very clean, with modern decor, a Western toilet, and comfortable bedding. It’s also the cheapest price I found for the area on ixigo. A few things could be better: the shared shower only had cold water, with lukewarm water available to pour into a bucket, and there were a few mosquitoes. The hotel is around 50-100 meters from what looked like a back-alley river with stagnant water. Only one person spoke good English, and I waited 10-15 minutes for help finding a room.

The staff were polite and helpful, and the rooms were clean, hygienic, and very affordable. I had a nice experience here. It’s also close to the Sarnath Museum and Dhamek Stupa. Highly recommended :)
