Hotel SGT Plaza

We had booked five rooms for four days at the hotel's other branch, behind the main one. After two days, the manager told us to move for a day because he'd booked our room for someone else. He hadn't mentioned this when we booked. We were on the first floor, but he offered rooms on the third. There were senior citizens with us, and the lift was under construction, so how were people with knee problems meant to climb three floors? When we argued, he told us to check out the next day and find somewhere else. The manager was irresponsible and arrogant. Such a pathetic experience. There are lots of better options around, so don't book here. I'd give it negative stars if I could.

The food was delicious, the conference hall was beautiful, and the tariffs were cost effective. I felt secure, and the staff gave pleasant service. The Chief Officer in Administration took especially good care of us. Try it once and you'll agree with me.

I was really happy with my stay at SGT. The location and property were just right, and everything was well managed, from the service to the room cleaning. A very good experience.

I came with ten friends, and we found all the rooms clean and comfortable. The staff were kind, and we had some good conversations with them. We'll stay here again when we come back to Varanasi.
