The pool is a real plus after a long drive. Getting in the water felt relaxing and healing. It’s a decent place for a quick night’s stay on the highway, and the rooms were tidy. The bedsheets and AC were old, though. A little makeover could make this a great place.

The location right on the highway is the one good thing. The rooms were badly maintained, with dirty linens and stained walls. There’s only a limited selection of food, and no coffee machine in the room. The website lists rooms at 2500-3000 rs per day including taxes and breakfast, which isn’t worth it. If you call and book directly, it’s available for 2000rs including taxes and breakfast.

The room was in terrible shape. The paint was coming off, cockroaches seemed to be in every corner, and the towels and bedspread were dirty. The AC didn’t work, and there was no water in the washroom, so we had to use the one in another room. What happens in this Vegas will haunt you forever.

The ambience was the best part of our dinner stop at Hotel Vegas on the way back from Mumbai. We’d hoped to have drinks and a meal by the highway, but the tandoori snacks and Chinese starters were only okay. Service was quite poor too. Better food and service could make this a great spot.

The river and mountain views are lovely, and monsoon seems like the best season to stay here. It’s right beside the river, on the Pune Satara highway. There’s a swimming pool, open garden, kids playing area, and a restaurant serving both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. Prices are fairly cheap, and parking is available.
