Watching crocodiles sun themselves on the river opposite was a highlight, and the property is very close to the entrance of the agir safari park. The food was decent, though the choices felt limited. A few things need attention: the shower temperature, WiFi away from reception, and clearer arrival directions, since the Google Maps route doesn't work for many SUVs. Communication was frustrating too. The WhatsApp number seems to reach a woman who speaks English well but appears to know little about the property or have much interest in it, and she ignored messages.

The greenery made it easy to spend some peaceful time here, and we really enjoyed the property. The food was delicious and nicely served. The kids also had fun with the swings and pool.

The stream in front of the hotel made for a lovely view, and our suite's jacuzzi was a fun extra that everyone enjoyed. The rooms were great, too. Ranjan and Sachin took good care of us, and the chef put together meals with lots of vegetarian choices. I'd highly recommend this spot.

We left feeling relaxed and refreshed, thanks in large part to the fantastic staff. Everyone was so welcoming and polite, and they helped us a lot. It's a wonderful place, and I'd like to come back and explore more. Thanks to all the staff.

The pool was clean and well looked after, and it was a nice place to cool off after exploring. Meals were fresh and flavorful, with plenty of breakfast choices from local dishes to continental favorites. They were also happy to adjust the food to suit our preferences. For a family looking to slow down in nature, the calm setting worked really well. The kids were excited to spot crocodiles in the nearby river. Devaliya Safari is close enough to make a morning or afternoon trip easy, and there are other interesting places around Gir National Park to visit. Gir Lion Safari Camp was a comfortable, peaceful stay for us.
