Sarang Lodging and Boarding is part of a function hall used for weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, and other events, and it also rents out rooms for lodging. The rooms are very compact, but they’re kept extremely clean. The staff are helpful and courteous, and always serve with a smile. The property is spacious, with enough parking for cars and motorcycles. There’s no restaurant on site, but if you let the staff know in advance, they can arrange breakfast and similar things. The small bathrooms are well laid out and extremely clean, with hot and cold water available 24 hours a day. It’s in Sadar Bazar, Satara, 2.5 km from Satara Bus Depot. Shared autos go from the depot to ShriDatta Mandir Share auto Stand, and the current fare is ₹20/- per passenger. The lodging is a one-minute walk from that stand. The surrounding area has bungalows and cooperative societies where many retired Defence Staff live. It feels very safe, and the roads are well maintained.

It’s clean, and the service was good while we were there, though we were the only guests. This is a very basic place, run as a marriage hall, with guest rooms on the third floor. Fine for one night.

It’s a marriage hall, with a meeting room for bigger meetings or small functions. A good place overall.
