OYO 28164 Hotel Shubham Inn

The manager was well behaved, but this was the worst hotel I’ve seen. There were no staff around, the sheets were unclean, dust covered the room, and the bathroom had no lock. They charged 1700 for one night!

This is reasonably priced compared with nearby hotels, and the hospitality was good. It’s suitable for families, with spacious rooms, car parking, and a restaurant serving good food. Free breakfast includes South Indian and North Indian dishes. Hot water is available only at limited times, not around the clock.

The room charges were way too high. For what I paid for one night here, I could manage four or five days at other good hotels, even in hill and tourist spots like panchgani, mahabaleshwar, and kaas. I’d laugh at OYO for listing a hotel at this price in satara. The staff behavior was very bad, and the rooms were horrible to stay in. One of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had 😅😅

Set on the outskirts of Satara city on the Pune-Bangalore highway, the hotel is easy to reach from the highway and has ample parking. Rooms are spacious and well lit, and the staff are courteous and willing to help. The in-house restaurant serves tasty food.
