I couldn't recommend the hotel after this last stay. I'd been there before and had a pleasant experience, so this was a real letdown. The toilets had no water, which made the stay very inconvenient. There was nobody at reception to help, and I called several times without getting an answer. This isn't the service I expected given my earlier experience with the hotel.

The location is great, and paid parking is available nearby, so parking wasn't an issue. I went for a function at noon, and there were very few fans, making the heat unbearable. The service was mediocre at best. The food tasted good, but the servers were rude and unprofessional. One refused to serve dal because he said he'd been told to serve it only with roti. They weren't wearing gloves or uniforms either. Great venue, poor service. Avoid.

We ended up here in Satara after our car broke down on the Mumbai to Goa highway, and it was a very good place to land. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were extremely polite, friendly, and helpful. I liked the cricket decor, too. Dinner was really tasty. We ordered Rashmi kababs and Mutton Masala, and the mutton was so good. Breakfast was omelette and Poha, both good. It was a comfortable stay and a great overall experience.

The food was delicious, and the place has a lovely ambience. Mr. Ramgadiya, the proprietor, and his son are usually there and personally look after even the small details. They also hosted an orchestra program on Christmas Day, 25 December, the first event of its kind hosted by a restaurant in Satara. I'd highly recommend this spot for good food and service in Satara.

I’ve watched this restaurant change over the years. It used to be one of just a few food outlets in Satara city, and the renovation has made it very popular. The food is really good, especially the tandoori butter chicken, which I love. Service is decent too.
