Anuraga Palace

The rooms were spacious, clean, and full of heritage character, and the evening tea on the lawn came with folk singers, a magic show, and lac-bangle making for the kids. Staff also thought of the practical things: warm blankets for chilly safari drives and packed food for our child on both safaris and sightseeing. We chose the all-inclusive plan, and every meal, from breakfast through dinner, had distinctive, delicious flavors. One evening they even surprised us with a candlelit dinner on the roof, without us asking. We spent two nights at Anuraga Palace, and it turned out to be the best hotel stay of our Rajasthan tour. The warm staff took care of every request.

The lawn is lovely, and our room was spacious. The whole property is kept in good shape, and the staff were warm, polite, and well trained. We stayed for two nights and were very happy with it. The food was delicious; the chef paid personal attention to guests and did their best to accommodate preferences, even with the buffet. Safari pickup and drop-off were available directly from the property.

The buffet was a real highlight, with a wide range of delicious dishes. Every evening there was a live cultural performance, and the complimentary tea was a nice break after safari. The marble halls, gardens, and elegant decor make Anuraga Palace stand out in Sawai Madhopur. My room was comfortable and carefully maintained, with a refined royal look. Staff were consistently professional, courteous, and helpful with travel and safari arrangements. I enjoyed my five-day stay and would recommend it to families visiting Sawai Madhopur or Ranthambore.

At night the property looks especially picturesque, particularly under a full moon, and the clean grounds add to the grand setting. It has the look of a palace, though it's a hotel with palatial style. The staff are warmly dressed and cordial, and the sarangi music gives the place a strong Rajasthani feel. The pool is reasonably well maintained. Food is hygienic and fairly tasty, but the buffet service could improve. Water pressure in the heavily decorated bathrooms could be better too.
