There aren't many amenities, but the stay was comfortable and problem-free. Since this is a travel destination, a quiet night's sleep matters, and I got one here. There's a nice restaurant downstairs, and the people at the hotel were helpful whenever I needed assistance.
Don't book this hotel through OYO. I paid in advance, but when I arrived at around 10 PM with my sister, her 8-month-old daughter, and my mother, they refused to check us in. They said they weren't accepting OYO bookings and told me to make a manual booking instead. Even OYO customer care couldn't help when I called.
The sheets and pillows felt oily and dirty, and even the replacements smelled freshly washed but still seemed oily. One room had no running water. Floors were dirty in every room, and the bathrooms were worse. Hot water was available only on request, and card payment wasn't possible because, apparently, the machine wasn't working. There's also a huge wasp nest on the first floor. I wouldn't recommend it.
The staff were cooperative and polite, and the hotel restaurant is convenient. There's a working Wi-Fi connection and geyser, plus good restaurants nearby and a wine and beer shop within walking distance. A good place to stay.
The dirty tables and chairs really stood out, and cleaning seemed to be a regular problem. We came for a CME, but the hotel quality fell short: poor service, too few staff, and very little coordination. If you need a cheap place and can live with low quality, it may suit you. Otherwise, it’s not worth it and needs a lot of improvement.
