Ranthambhore Bagh Dwar Camp

Room service, safari coordination, and the rest of the hospitality were all handled with care. The staff were very polite and helpful, always ready to assist, and the food was fresh, tasty, and nicely served. Ranthambhore Bagh Dwar Camp had clean, comfortable rooms with lovely design, and its natural setting and peaceful surroundings made for a relaxing stay. I’d recommend it if you’re looking for comfort, nature, and warm service. It’s a memorable place to stay.

Kamal Meena ji was especially warm and friendly, and made sure everything we asked for arrived as soon as possible. Bagh Dwar Camp is a beautiful, pocket-friendly place with spacious tents, clean surroundings, delicious food, and friendly staff. I’d definitely recommend it to my friends and would love to visit again.

We ended up cutting our stay short because there were too many unresolved problems. The tents had no proper locks, which worried us, and despite asking at least four times, we never got drinking water. Hot water for bathing was also unavailable after repeated requests. The pool was dirty and poorly maintained. There was only one staff member handling all the guests. He tried his best, but was clearly overworked. When we suggested improvements, we got polite assurances without any real action. The food was a major disappointment: extremely oily, spicy, and heavy, even by usual Indian standards. The menu was fixed and very limited. We had to ask specifically for basic things like curd and milk, and the milk we requested in advance never came at breakfast. The property had promised internet access. There was no Wi-Fi in the tents, which would have been fine if management had kept its promise that the reception area would stay open late. We needed the Wi-Fi for an important overseas meeting, but the area was locked when we went to use it, so we had to cancel the meeting at the last minute. Bagh Dwar has potential, but our stay was deeply disappointing. The lack of basic hospitality, responsiveness, and attention to guest safety made it extremely uncomfortable.

Dinner by the bonfire was especially delicious. The tents were clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated, and the staff were super friendly. They smoothly helped us book a tiger safari. Bagh Dwar Camp is only a few minutes from the main safari gates, yet the setting feels peaceful and close to nature. We had an amazing stay at the camp and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Ranthambhore.
