Ranthambhore Vatika Resort

We had such a memorable family stay here in January 2026. Devendra Ji and the staff were welcoming, humble, and helpful, and the hospitality was lovely. The food was delicious and felt like home, with an exceptionally good cook. In winter, they also have a bonfire. I’d return with a bigger family group next time. Papa missed this trip, so we’ll bring him along. The small resort is easy to book without hesitation. Adding a swimming pool would improve the amenities and could bring in more guests.

We were a bit unsure about hygiene and cleanliness when we booked, but the stay turned out really well. The rooms are big and clean, and there’s a lovely sitting area outside where you can relax at night with family or friends. They have three gardens, with a bonfire outside in the garden too. If you’re looking for a budget friendly resort for families, this is the one.

The garden is lovely, and the terrace is a relaxing spot with a great view of the national park. We also ate at the hotel restaurant in the evening, which was quite good. Since walking around at night isn’t recommended for women, we were glad to have that option. The hotel sits between the city center and the national park, which works well for different activities. Uber doesn’t operate in this area, though, so we always needed the hotel to arrange a transfer. Our room was big and comfortable. Cleanliness wasn’t perfect, but it was still quite good. The staff were helpful and attentive, perhaps a little too attentive at times. WiFi didn’t work, but we didn’t ask them to fix it. There was construction while we were there, so it could be noisy, and sometimes the lights went off. They stopped work in the evening, which meant we could unwind after a busy day.

The rooms were clean and well maintained, but getting room service was inconvenient because the intercom didn’t work, so we had to go to reception. The place feels more like a hotel than a resort. There’s a small garden and a bonfire setup, though they seem more for display than real use. When guests ask to use the bonfire, excuses are given, and it appears to be reserved for staff or their personal invites.
