The small thoughtful touches at Sawai Shivir made the stay feel special. Our morning tea was customized to taste like the chai we have at home, and we had a picnic meal for safari that was fresh, well packed, and planned just right. The daily menu kept changing, with Indian and Italian food and desserts, all beautifully presented with choices at every meal. Compliments to the chef. The car service was seamless. We had 24/7 butler service, and the phone for calling the butler was adorable and worked as a Wi-Fi hotspot too. The camp was stunning, from the table and sofa to the decor and lovely books about the place, wildlife, and local culture. They had thought of all the little things we might need, including cloaks, shoes, umbrellas, hats for safari, waterproof cloaks, and extra bags. The staff were warm, attentive, and caring. Star gazing, nature walk, pottery sessions, and musical nights with locals made it magical, and everything was taken care of effortlessly. There is also a lovely shop, a play area with billiards, and cycling options. Every moment felt special. Sawai Shivir is a luxury stay with soul, truly memorable and highly recommended. Perhaps this was the dream camp everyone ever dreamt of but never actually believed it existed. You have made it come true.

The camp and tents were incredibly comfortable, and we had an amazing stay. Staff were kind, helpful, and knowledgeable, and the food was delicious. A great spot for seeing Ranthambore!

Getting to the camp means following a long dusty track, then you arrive at a beautiful oasis. We spent 3 nights here as a family in 2 luxury tents while visiting the Ranthambore reserve. The hospitality was exemplary, the tents were comfortable and luxurious, and the food was some of the best we've had in India, even after staying at some amazing places. A really amazing place.

The visit felt surreal, and we were made to feel at home. Manager mr piyush spent time chatting with us and made sure we were comfortable. We had a warm welcome when we arrived, and they thoughtfully asked about allergies. We enjoyed lunch and then rested. A staff member was assigned to help us and was always there when needed. In the April heat, the swimming pool was very refreshing. Ganesh dham, where we boarded our safari, was a 10 min drive away. We were lucky to see 6 tigers during our 3 hours of safari, and luckily the weather was cloudy. On the last night, the camp sponsored a wonderful barbecue with cultural dance, music, and some sher o shayari. The manager cooked some very tasty mutton. We also had a pottery session with a local potter, who showed us how to make earthenware with clay. Thanks a lot TUTC, and special thanks to Mr Piyush.
