The team was lovely and made some of the best food I had in India. Kablan was a quiet oasis after the busy cities, with tastefully decorated, comfortable rooms. The pool in the middle of the property is a must for a swim and a bit of relaxing.
The elegant interiors and natural surroundings made my stay feel luxurious. Kablan Luxury Living is definitely one of the best resorts in Ranthambore National Park.
We paid nearly ₹35,000 to stay here with my wife and our 3-year-old daughter, and it wasn't worth it. The location is remote from both the main city and Ranthambore National Park, and didn't feel especially safe at night. There was no pick-up or drop-off for early morning safaris, which was a major hassle given how offbeat the property is. The rooms looked decent at first, but had several maintenance problems: the room door lock was faulty, and the bathroom door lock came off. Basic items listed on the website, including a fridge, kettle, and hair dryer, weren't already in the room and came only after repeated requests. The in-room dining menu was long, but most dishes weren't available. The food we did get made it clear the staff lacked proper cooking and hospitality training. The staff seemed confused and untrained, and the service didn't come close to matching the price. We expected a more comfortable, professional, guest-friendly stay. It felt poorly managed and far from a true luxury experience.
We visited this luxury property in November this year, and the staff were warm and very helpful. They were also cooperative about meals for our small child. The setting combines a royal feel with rural, wild Rajasthan, and the hospitality was amazing. A perfect place for a staycation.
We spent 40k for 2 nights on what was meant to be a special birthday trip, and the experience was pathetic. There were no toiletries, the food was bland and third class, and despite the property's resources, the service felt like a road side dhaba. The staff were local and uneducated, when at an expensive property we expected some decency, like hotel management graduates. There was no room service and nothing came when we called. We had to go to the so called bell desk ourselves four times for anything, because no one seemed to care or respond properly. Staff listened poorly, didn't understand what we needed, and rushed so much that half the request was missed or left undone. The entitled Manager Narender Singh isn't up to the role. We had to keep walking around to remind him of requests every hour, and they were still delayed. The bell boy Dhanraj would nod at everything we asked for, then fail to provide it for a good 2 hours. This is the luxury experience The Kablan promises. When booking, we were told we'd get 2 hour early check-in, welcome drinks, and a warm welcome. We arrived at the usual check-in time and still didn't receive the drinks until we called from our room after a whole hour. The Kablan ruined what was supposed to be a birthday celebration. I'd strongly advise against this imitation property. A 2 star hotel would give you better value for your money.
