He said the lodge wasn't OYO, so we weren't entertained. I was charged the usual 1200 for a day, but the bedsheets were bad and there was no geyser. It was a terrible experience, and I've lost faith in OYO. They should inspect these places and monitor their quality.

Getting around is easy because it's near cloack tower, and the food at Mirchi Restaurent is very good. The hotel is a bit old, and although the rooms have been renovated, cleanliness is below what I've seen at other OYOs. For a premium property, the standard should be better. At the same cost, you can find more sophisticated places.

The doors aren't secure, and neither the room locks nor the bathroom lock work well, so anyone could get into your room. The restaurant food was awful, and the TV's DTH kept having signal problems. Breakfast was limited to 2 idly, and it didn't arrive until 9:30 am. Don't stay here, look elsewhere.

The front desk staff showed no courtesy. I've travelled a lot and never seen this kind of behaviour before. They just laughed at the trouble customers were having. Avoid this lousy place.
