Gayatri Lodge by OYO Rooms

After the way management treated me, I booked another hotel and left. I’d reserved this one through the OYO mobile app, then called to confirm the address. The person on the phone told me I could come only if I spoke Hindi, otherwise I shouldn’t come. I was shocked, but spoke Hindi and made it there anyway. I later confronted the service man who had answered; he apologized. Still, the whole experience was bad. Read reviews before deciding, and don’t book blindly.

The bed was uncomfortable, the sheets hadn’t been washed, and the bathroom was awful. The toilet seat and jet spray were broken, and there was no geyser. On top of all that, they charged an extra convenience fee. Nothing was good, and I left very disappointed. Wouldn’t recommend it.

I paid online for a three-day booking, but they wouldn’t accept online payment. At the hotel, the manager demanded a much higher amount, checked me out of the OYO room, then sent a bill for just one day. They also used my phone to leave a rating on the OYO app. Very cunning people, and a really bad experience. Don’t book here.

The bathroom was a nightmare, and the rooms were badly maintained. The actual hotel looked nothing like the pictures on the OYO Rooms website, and the manager charged me 120/- for no reason. I regret booking it.
