The only thing in the room that worked for us was the fan. The rest of the stay was awful, and I wouldn’t book this place again or recommend it. I found the hotel around 11 PM after hours of searching and walking more than 1 km from Secunderabad East Metro. The OYO pictures were completely fake. I’d booked through the Confirm Ticket app and was with two friends, three of us in all. Even though I booked, they photographed everyone’s IDs. The elderly receptionist spoke only Hindi and Telugu, so we struggled to communicate in English. The cleaner who came to our room was drunk, spoke with his mouth full of paan, and made us uncomfortable enough to keep our distance. First they put us in a room without a geyser. It was very cold, and when we asked about bathing, they said they could bring hot water bucket by bucket on request. They later moved us to a room with a geyser, but it was even worse. The white bed and sheets had turned yellow, ventilation was poor, and all they provided was an exhaust fan. The bathroom was filthy and had no door lock. The western toilet was extremely dirty and ugly, the tiles were broken and patched with cement, and there was white powder in the room corners that looked like bleaching powder. The table was stained, the floor dusty and sandy, and the room clearly hadn’t been cleaned. The old switchboards looked unsafe, and the geyser was broken, so I was afraid I might get an electric shock. Fake photos, poor hygiene, and rude, unprofessional staff made this my worst stay ever.
