Apple Orchard Farm and Camping

For a night in such a remote spot, the service was really impressive. The staff were polite and helpful, and the place was clean and hygienic. It’s also in a lovely location beside the Baspa river, and the food was good. We had fabulous hospitality.

The staff were very cooperative, and the owner even arranged a local guide for sightseeing and a bonfire at no extra charge. We were very happy with the visit. Our Swiss tent was set among apple trees and felt like a small bedroom, with an attached bathroom and clean bedding. There were plug points for phones, cameras, and laptops, plus a separate, warm dining tent. Breakfast and dinner were included and the food was very good. The camp itself was peaceful, though the evening breeze was quite chilly.

The hosts were friendly, knew a lot about the area, and offered walks by the Baspa, a tributary of the Sutlej River, as well as a glacier trek and visits to Batseri village and Badrinarayan temple, a beautiful wooden structure. The communal fire pit was a nice spot for evening gatherings and stargazing. Our tent was roomy and comfortable, with cozy beds, clean linen, rustic modern furnishings, and a private bathroom with a toilet and eco-friendly toiletries. The tents are made with eco-friendly materials, and the orchard is maintained without harmful pesticides, which fits the management's focus on sustainability. Being in the apple orchard was peaceful. We woke to birds, the river, and the scent of the trees, with rolling hills and greenery all around. It was a refreshing break from everyday life. Apple Orchard Farm and Camping combines that natural setting with a comfortable stay, and we came away feeling refreshed and inspired by its sustainable approach.

The tents had the same comforts as the rooms and made for an even better stay. They were comfortable, with neat, clean washrooms and all the essentials. There was Wi-Fi, electric bed heating, and plug points conveniently placed by the bed. The views were perfect, the food was amazing, and the staff were friendly.
