Lords Eco Inn Rajkot Shapar

Food service could use some work, both on taste and service, and I’d have liked more choices for lunch and dinner. The rest of my stay at Lords Eco inn Rajkot-Shapar was good. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the staff were supportive and polite. Ms. Saloni at the front office gave me a warm welcome and excellent support throughout. A good option for business or family visits.

The accommodation and ambiance were well maintained, and I had a comfortable, pleasant visit. Shivkumar, Bhupendra, Saloni, and Chanchala were courteous, helpful, and attentive, making the stay smooth. Food quality could be better, though. Improving that would make the experience even better.

The staff were easily the best part of my first stay here. Check-in was smooth, the guards were helpful and polite, and the team worked hard and spoke kindly. The receptionist was especially nice, always wearing a lovely smile. The property is in an industrial area, so its run-down exterior was understandable to me, and the rooms themselves were spacious and attractive. For this area, they’re among the best you can find, though there was considerable seepage on the walls. The bathrooms were a completely different story. They smelled awful, with badly stained tiles, faucets, and toilet, and the whole room felt old and dirty. When I turned on the warm tap, dark brown, muddy water came out. I couldn’t even brush my teeth with it. I had to flush out four to five buckets before I got one bucket suitable for bathing. The bathrooms badly need renovation. The room corridors also raised cleanliness concerns, with dirty, torn mats and towels left lying around. The breakfast and lunch buffets had plenty of options, but everything I tried had a strange chemical aftertaste. I wondered if soap had been left on the dishes or vessels. That was a major disappointment. The staff are doing a great job, but the owners need to invest back into the property instead of only earning from it. They can’t fix things without the means. It’s a nice place to stay if you need to be in the industrial area, but the bathrooms need major work and the food quality needs checking. Aside from those issues, it’s a very nice property.

Receptionist Saloni gave me a warm welcome and made check-in easy and pleasant. I had a wonderful stay: the room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the staff were polite and helpful throughout. The location was convenient too. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
