Malhar Machi Mountain Resorts

We had a pleasant family stay, with clean rooms and a lovely view, especially from the Maharaja scenic view room. Diwedi was a great help and looked after all our requests, and the rest of the staff were polite and cooperative. The food was good overall, though the desserts could be better. A lovely place to relax and unwind.

My two-year-old had a great time in the clean, safe children’s park, and we all enjoyed the horse riding. The horses seemed well cared for. Staff were friendly and helpful, and went out of their way to make a non-spicy meal for him. The place feels peaceful, with hills and Mulshi Lake views that make a weekend break from Pune feel refreshing. Our room was spacious, clean, and nicely decorated, with a rustic feel alongside modern comforts, big windows, comfortable beds, and great views. The pool looked especially beautiful at sunset. The food was mostly simple and fresh, with authentic flavors. Everything felt thoughtfully planned. It’s an amazing place to unwind.

I really enjoyed Hi Tea at Devrai garden, and they even gave us snacks for the journey when we left. The restaurant served delicious, good-quality food, and the room was clean. Wi-Fi, the pool, and complimentary breakfast were available and good. Staff were courteous and efficient from check-in through checkout, and welcomed us warmly. Malhar Machi has amazing views and is a very nice choice for a family or friends’ stay. We’d happily come back.

The room amenities let the stay down. There was no conditioner in the bathroom, the toiletries felt very basic, and the TV had no Wi-Fi connection, so we couldn’t watch anything. At this price, it didn’t feel like good value. The welcome was warm, the ambience comfortable, and the food genuinely good. Service was attentive and courteous throughout. Better room facilities would make this mixed experience much more worthwhile.
