The room and bathroom were filthy, with ants and bugs all over and even a leech in the bathroom. The property also felt poorly maintained and unsafe at night, with no proper security guard or adequate boundary walls. There wasn't even a phone in the room to call reception. The resort is far from the city, which made getting help in an emergency feel difficult. There was no food available, not even tea or snacks, which was very disappointing for a place charging for accommodation. My most frightening experience happened in Room 112: after about 1:30 PM, while I was asleep, I lost consciousness for a few minutes and acted unusually. My wife had to shout several times to bring me around. I know some people may not believe in negative energy or unusual experiences, but it happened to me and scared me enough that I didn't want to stay. We cancelled the second night and checked out early. When we asked for a refund for that day, they refused and started misbehaving with us. Between the poor hygiene, lack of food and security, and what happened to me, this was one of my worst and most unsafe resort stays. I strongly recommend that no one stay here.

Waking up to misty hills and fresh mountain air was a highlight. At Home Prakruthi Resorts in Araku Valley sits among greenery and hills, with a cool, peaceful feel that made it easy to unwind and get away from city life. The property was well kept and felt at home in its natural surroundings. Our room was spacious, tidy, comfortable, and had the essentials. The staff were warm and courteous, always willing to help, and their care made the stay feel personal. We also enjoyed the freshly prepared meals, with local flavors alongside familiar dishes. Hot, homely food was especially nice in the cool weather. It felt rejuvenating, whether we were walking around the property, taking in the greenery, or just sitting with tea. A lovely nature escape for families, couples, or a quiet solo break. I would recommend it and hope to visit again.
Only the railway line is in view from the resort, and the location is a minus. We visited in January 2026. If you just want a place to stay, this lodge may do, but the room price doesn't feel worth it. Food has to be ordered from outside. The boys were helpful.
We enjoyed having space, and it was a good experience overall. Just know this isn't a high-tech place: there's no internet or Wi-Fi, and no signal either. It's somewhere to enjoy yourself.
The setting was lovely, with a picturesque background, and it's very close to Araku Railway Station. Rooms were clean, the amenities were good, and the staff were friendly. Nice hospitality and a pleasant stay.
