We stayed from March 21 to March 23, 2023, after renting a holiday home through Bank of India. The rooms we’d booked weren’t given to us because we were told they were still occupied. The room and bathroom were dirty, and the bedsheets were old and soiled. Pillow covers were torn, and the cloth inside the pillows was black and dirty. There were three of us in one room but only two pillows. When we asked the manager for another, he said, “Where can I get a pillow from? This is how things are going.” It was a strange response. We needed three pillows, but he acted as if two would have to do. After asking many times, we got one pillow. In another room there were two pillows, but we needed three there too. I don’t know how other people said the place was clean and the manager was good. Maybe holiday home bookings get rooms like this. It was a very bad experience.

For the first two days of our five-day stay, my family and I were the only guests. On the third day, some local goons booked the room next to ours. The caretaker said they visited often. They began tormenting us and even threatened us. Things got worse, so we left that night in a cab, but the hotel charged me for all five days. This was the worst hotel experience I’ve had. If you’re traveling as a couple or with family, please avoid it, or you may lose sleep like we did.

The whole area was clean, and it’s a cheap, nice place to enjoy a holiday in Digha. I think they need one person available around the clock to serve guests.

The room service was poor, the bedsheets were black and dirty, and the AC didn’t work properly. In the videos they say their prices are very low, but in reality they charge customers double, and give people triple the change money. The hotel authority’s behavior toward customers was terrible, and they used very bad words when talking to them. I was very disappointed and wouldn’t recommend this hotel at all. Worst hotel.
