The rooms and facilities are very good, and you can take an Ola or Uber here. The access lane is tiny, though, so only small cars can drive in. Finding the homestay took us at least 20 minutes even after we got within about 200 meters. Look for a small entrance near the HDFC bank branch, the one that looks like a gate to a house. That's the street entrance.
I ended up staying about 9 days because I felt more at ease here than at any homestay I’ve tried during my travels in India. The rooms are modern and very comfortable, and the place is peaceful while still just a few minutes’ walk from busy markets and restaurants. Aunty is lovely, makes a nice morning tea with care, and helped me find things to do around Shillong. I really recommend staying here, you won’t regret it.
The owner was laid-back and welcoming, and the rooms were clean with excellent washrooms. It’s also really close to the main road, which was the best part for me. I’ll definitely book here again on my next visit to shillong :)
We got a large space, a huge bathroom, and fast wifi, which was the main reason we stayed. There’s parking for your vehicle, and markets are an easy walk away. Booking offline cost us 1690 per day, while an online booking would have been more than 2000. The rooms are good.
The owner was so sweet and welcoming. Great rooms, excellent washrooms, and 10 on 10 cleanliness. I’d recommend this place wholeheartedly ❤️
