Beyond Stay Crossroads BnB

The food was delicious, and the staff did everything they could to make the stay pleasant. We got a warm welcome at check-in, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Hotel Marina has a great atmosphere and felt like a top-quality place. I’d recommend it to anyone after comfort and a good stay.

The à la carte food was good, but breakfast was disappointing in both taste and choice for a hotel that calls itself 4-star. They weren’t accommodating when we asked about simple meals or milk for the kids. The deck was another letdown: the tables and chairs were dirty, nobody looked after the area, and there wasn’t even water service. It should be a place to sit, eat, or enjoy a bonfire, but none of that was available. We booked about five rooms for a group over New Year. The location is the one real plus. The rooms were average and had no view. Suite windows couldn’t be opened, while the executive rooms had windows but only a tiny standing space outside, not a balcony to sit on. For the money, I wasn’t impressed. I’d stay somewhere farther from Mall Road and take a taxi, if that meant better rooms, views, and service.

The rooms have lovely, serene views, and the staff were courteous and welcoming. It’s a beautiful location, with several nearby spots and transport service available. Mall Road is an easy walk away. We had an amazing stay.

I didn’t expect much, but the staff’s treatment surprised us right from arrival. The property is well maintained, the infrastructure is great, and the team had a wonderful attitude. For a family holiday in shimla, I’d choose this hotel again. We had fun, and I’ll be back.
