The food was great, and the rooms were clean and well equipped. The staff were helpful and cooperative, which made staying here a great experience.

The food was very average, with hardly any choices, and the place felt more like a basic residency than a proper hotel. Staff were rude and unhelpful at first. It took several complaints before they finally started behaving properly. The overall service was terrible, and there really isn’t anything better to expect here. Definitely not recommended. I don’t think the ratings are trustworthy.

*Fraud alert* Hotel DK Residency Shimla calls itself a 3* hotel, but in reality it’s not even 1*. The interior and equipment are very poor quality. If a guest is unhappy, they don’t refund the money, they just adjust a little. They’re purely cheating people. Please be alert.

The online photos and reviews are completely misleading. The room was absolutely disgusting, and the staff were extremely unprofessional. When I asked about our booking, the receptionist was rude and dismissive.

At around 2 PM, we were sitting calmly in our room and having fun without making loud noise when the owner, Surendra, barged in aggressively. He spoke in a loud, threatening tone, showed no professionalism, and later told us to leave immediately. There was no apology. Zero star experience at DK Residency, completely unacceptable.
