Hotel Dhroov

The room was spacious and comfortable, and we were there for two nights on the second floor in a luxury room. The valley view was the real highlight, so ask for it specifically when booking. It’s on the main road and close to Mall Road, which makes getting around easy. Staff were helpful and approachable. Breakfast was decent, nothing special, but it got the morning started. The room didn’t have a mini-fridge, which feels like a basic thing to expect in a luxury category room, especially for drinks or anything you want to keep cold after being out. A small refrigerator would improve the experience, and the hotel should consider adding one.

I visited in March and had a great experience. The food was so good, and the rooms and service were excellent. The service felt really premium. I’d highly recommend this place.

Our experience was horrible. We took two rooms, and when we got back from visiting kufri, both rooms were open. Cash and a watch were missing from our room. The worst part was the hotel wouldn’t accept responsibility. Staff suggested there may have been a technical glitch and said we should have left our keys before going out, since the master key can sometimes leave a room open. The locks are automatic, and they were just lying. They even blamed us and acted as if we were lying. Horrible experience.

The mountain view from our room made the mornings and evenings refreshing, and the hotel has convenient access and adequate parking, which is a real plus in Shimla. We felt welcome as soon as we arrived at Hotel Dhroov Majestic, Shimla. The service stayed excellent throughout, with every staff member caring, polite, responsive, and ready to help with a smile. The meals were tasty, satisfying, and had authentic flavors, like they’d been freshly prepared. We had an outstanding stay and would happily return. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Shimla, and have no hesitation giving it 5 out of 5 stars. Khawaja, Dubai
