Hotel Victory

The online room looked completely different from what we got, which felt like a huge scam. The rooms were tiny and stinky, and the bathrooms and toilets were very small and dirty. The blankets and bathroom towels smelled bad too. There was no parking. I parked out front for a minute, got fined, and paid 1000 rupees online. I’d already paid extra to get fined, too. The front desk service was poor. They seemed focused on making more money from customers and didn’t want to help. I came from overseas and paid 4700 per night. If you want to waste your money and time, you can stop here. I’ve already done that, and I’ll never come back. I wasted thousands of rupees.

We had chosen the wrong booking date by mistake and hoped for some guidance, but instead they kept bringing up extra charges and left us feeling stressed and uncomfortable. The receptionist and front desk staff weren’t welcoming or helpful when we arrived. Their communication wasn’t professional or courteous, especially given it was an honest mistake. The experience at Hotel Victory was far from satisfactory. I hope management addresses the staff’s behavior and customer service for future guests.

Book hotel Surya instead. I wouldn’t book here again. We booked 3 rooms for 2 nights through Agoda, but due to what seemed like a technical glitch, no booking confirmation came through. We thought it hadn’t gone through and booked another hotel. Two days later, this hotel called to ask if we were checking in. That’s when we found out the booking had been processed and approximately ₹25,000 deducted from our account. We explained the issue to the owner, Mr. Tushar Kukreja, and asked for help or a reasonable solution. After the payment was received, our calls went unanswered, concerns were brushed aside, and there was no apparent effort to resolve it. We even went to the property in person, but our concerns were dismissed. After we told the hotel we wouldn’t be checking in, the rooms were reportedly given to other guests. Even so, there was no willingness to discuss a refund, adjustment, or fair resolution. We felt ignored, disrespected, and taken advantage of. The owner seemed more concerned about keeping the money than helping with a genuine issue. Customer service was nowhere when we needed it. Future guests should be very careful with bookings here and keep a record of every communication.

It’s a pretty standard place for a simple stay. Staff are polite, the rooms are decent and generally clean, and the basic amenities are there, though some spots could use more maintenance. The location is convenient for nearby attractions, but there’s nothing exceptional about the experience.
