The manager went out of his way to make my stay memorable, from sightseeing tips and rides to places of interest to lending me a personal WiFi router and checking that everything was okay. He’s a great host, and the view from my room was fantastic. The bus stop is less than 50 meters away. It really felt like a home away from home, and I’d have no hesitation recommending it to anyone visiting Shimla.

The owner was possibly the nicest gentleman we met in India, and the location, cleanliness, and hospitality were all outstanding. The views from the rooms and surroundings are fantastic, and there are great local restaurants nearby. It’s outside Shimla’s main tourist area, but a quick bus ride takes you to the lift, and walking back from the mall is easy and downhill. This is literally the best guesthouse in all of India. I’d give it a hundred stars if I could.

The owner and staff really go out of their way to make sure guests have a great stay. The hotel rooms are clean and well maintained, and the view lets you see all of Shimla. Buses stop right in front, and it’s a short bus ride, about 20 minutes, to the lift. The food is good and economical too. I loved the parathas they serve. One of the best places I’ve stayed in my life.

The owner helped us have a great experience by recommending places and activities, and even drove us to the city center and bus terminal. The staff were among the most hospitable I’ve met. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the rooftop view was stunning. Shimla view home is an incredibly welcoming place. I highly recommend it.
