We were there with family from 26th Dec'25 - 28th Dec'25, and it was a relaxing Shimla break. Hotel Bodhi Tree BnB on Bharari Road has a peaceful feel, with cozy, clean, well-kept rooms and lovely mountain views from the balcony. The staff made sure we were comfortable and helped plan local sightseeing. It's a short drive from Mall Road, away from the crowds but still easy to reach. Breakfast was freshly made each morning and delicious. Highly recommend it for warm hospitality and a homely stay.

The balcony view was breathtaking, and the food, cleanliness and hospitality were all top notch. If you want somewhere away from the crowds, this is perfect. The owner also has another property on Mall Road Shimla, which is handy if you want to upgrade. 10/10, I'll definitely visit again.

We picked The Bodhi Tree because it has drive-in access and parking, both hard to find in Shimla, and it worked out well. It's about 3km from the ridge, so it's quiet but still accessible. The place is well maintained, with lovely wooden interiors. Our room was spacious and had everything we needed, including a radiator heater that was a lifesaver. A solid 5-star stay.

After Rishikesh, we spent two nights here in December. Being outside the main town made it especially peaceful. Our room had an amazing view for watching both sunrise and sunset (picture), and came with all the amenities we needed, including a complimentary heater. The staff were super helpful and responsive, and breakfast was amazing. Try the masala omelett, with or without cheese. Highly recommend!
